10. Fresh Milk
Milk is a good source of calcium, folate, vitamin D, and vitamin K. As we already know vitamin K deficiency can prevent your blood from clotting and lead to severe bleeding. Hence, drinking milk daily can boost immunity along with improving the blood platelet count. But there are also some studies that indicate that milk can interfere in platelet count. More research is warranted in this regard.
You should start your day with a glass of milk and can also have a glass before going to bed. You can also add it to your smoothie, breakfast bowl, or dessert.
Bovine colostrum which is a milk-like fluid that a baby cow receives from its mother has been found to increase platelet count. It is now used as a dietary supplement.
