3. Tart Cherries
Tart cherries contain anthocyanin, an anti-inflammatory antioxidant. Tart cherries according to studies are as effective and much safer than nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Tart cherry juice is a very good choice for relieving inflammation. A small glass of Montmorency cherry juice a day has the prowess of reducing pain and stiffness. Avoid adding sugar or artificial sweeteners to the juice for not ruining the health benefits.
