a. Peppermint Oil
The menthol in the peppermint helps the digestion function. Another factor that could help in preventing symptoms of nausea can be a very strong aroma. Hence the oil can also be effective in treating motion sickness.
Keep a bottle of peppermint oil handy whenever you are traveling. On a handkerchief pour 2-3 drops of the oil and sniff on it as you travel. Keep doing this whenever required.
b. Ginger Oil
Inhaling the strong aroma of ginger oil makes you feel better almost instantly. This effect can be credited to the antiemetic properties of ginger. The oil can be either applied topically or diffused to improve digestion and ease feelings of nausea.
Before the start of your trip, put two to three drops of ginger oil on a handkerchief and sniff on it. Whenever you experience motion sickness, just inhale the strong aroma.
