People who already have kidney disease, need to reduce consumption of dairy in order to help to filter work done by kidneys easier. This may delay the need for dialysis.
Heart disease is known to be a major risk factor for kidney disease, and similarly, kidney disease also increases risks to the heart. Saturated fat increases the risk of heart disease and butter is high in saturated fat.
It is better to alternate butter with olive oil flavored with healthy herbs for topping bread and dressing vegetables.
