Contrary to popular belief, juices are not as healthy as eating whole fruit. Most of the nutrition, especially fiber in whole fruits and vegetables are in its pulp and skin. When you remove those, you lose all the important nutrition and also tend to drink a lot more. The fiber that is lost in juices helps you feel full and also slows sugar absorption in your blood.
It has been found that there is a link between frequently drinking juice and a greater incidence of rectal cancer. The reason for this could be the high level of sugar in the juice.
