4. Oily fish with Omega-3s
Most fish come bundled with the potent Omega-3 fatty acids which our body needs to function properly. Omega-3s are also known to lower blood pressure, lower triglycerides and reduce inflammation. Fishes also have Vitamin D which helps lower blood pressure. Salmon, trout, mackerel, and tuna are some fishes that are rich in omega-3. Enjoy them baked and avoid fried fish.
Omega-3 can also be sourced from flax seeds, chia seeds, and walnuts.
